Magnificent outdoor onsen with great view! The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Fantastic food! Excellent hospitality! The Japanese garden in the hotel is one of the best in Japan and a must see!

As we stayed on a Friday, the hotel was highly occupied. And it is relatively big. Staff did their best, but sometimes it was very busy. E.g. even though we had to specify the time slot for breakfast, we had to wait for about 10 minutes in front of the restaurant. No big deal, but for the price they charge it is a minus. Kaiseki dinner was good but not outstanding.

The level of service was excellent and the breakfast buffet was delicious, with many different options. Also, the baths were great.
